Project W Celebrates its 4th Year Anniversary

Project W held two kick-off meetings to celebrate the beginning of its 4th year of giving. We were very fortunate to be able to hold both events outdoors and in-person this year. It was wonderful to see everyone’s smiling faces and great enthusiasm and support for Project W. It was also an opportunity to celebrate Project W’s accomplishments. In the last three years, this women’s giving circle has steadily expanded its membership base from 64 women in 2019 to 148 women in 2021. Project W’s grants increased from $35,000 in 2019 to $60,000 in 2021.

On the evening of September 14th, members got together at DiFabio’s in Media, Pennsylvania. Kim D’Ambrosio, Project W’s Chairperson, thanked members for their participation and shared some of Project W’s vision for the new 2022 Membership Year.

On September 15th, another group of friends got together at the Mad Anthony Wayne Cafe located at the Wayne train station. Spending time together on the train station platform was symbolic of the “journey” Project W members have shared during the last three years together and of all the future adventures that lay ahead. “All Aboard!”

The Kick-off events brought old friends together and allowed others the chance to get to know each other. Project W members look forward to the 2022 membership campaign, already underway, and to their continued impact on the community.
