2020 Educational Series #1 – March 5, 2020
Ever wonder why the census is taken?  Mike Ranck is Chairman of Delaware County’s Complete Count Committee for the 2020 Census.  Information gathered from the census is used to determine how to distribute $675 billion in federal funds and grants for schools, hospitals, roads, public works and other programs. It’s also used to redraw the boundaries of U.S. Congressional districts.  Learn how the census will impact critical social services offered right here in Delaware County.
Mike and a representative from the US Census will share their insights on this topic, and answer questions from the audience.
